Welcome to the ninth issue of Jovian APAworks. We've been away for a long time. We would like to thank our loyal readers who are back as well.
This is a a significant issue in a couple of ways. First, it the first issue since the terrorist attacks starting on September 11th. In truth, we all woke up into a world in flux since that date. Obviously, all of us are likely unsure of what the final outcome of the present world events will be. Despite all this, the seasons change. For New York, Washington D.C. and the rest of us, we must somehow move on, rebuild. That can be a difficult thing to admit when we look at the devastation that Afghanistan and that part of the world are facing, but for each of us in our own place, the world turns day in day out,...one world, different seasons.
So, here we are, leading us into the second significance to this month's issue. This is our biggest issue in a while. Heck, as one member pointed out on our mailing list, this is the only issue in a while. Still, I feel that the participation behind this issue is significant. It is a rebirth of writing, a season of rebuilding an APA after a long summer and shattering world events.
We have some great material for your perusal. We have a new member, Chris Wo, who has created a new CEGA vehicle. We also have the first installment of Chris Schaller's Shinjuku Arcology Sourcebook. There is some great 3D artwork from our artist, Colin Dunn. As well as, two continuing stories from Bryan Lee and your's truely. ^_^
I have dubbed this issue "A Time to Rebuild" in reflection to the revelations explained above. We hope that you enjoy this month's issue and find it entertaining and educational.
